A: Would you care for some biscuits with cheese?
B: No, thank you.
A: Would you like some candy or some chocolate cake?
B: Thanks, that sounds delicious, but I can’t eat chocolate.
A: Well, don’t you want anything?
B: How about a peanut butter sandwich?
A: A peanut butter sandwich?
B: Yes, with jam if you don’t mind.
A: Yes, uh… uh, OK. Anything else? A glass of milk perhaps?
B: Yes. That’s fine, thank you.

J: Kathy! How are you? It’s been ages! What are you doing these days?
K: I just opened my own restaurant. I’m also head chief.
J: You’re kidding! You’ve always hated cooking!
K: Well, I used to hate cooking, but now I love it.
J: When did you change your mind?
K: After I tried French food. Before that, I used to cook really boring things for my family.
J: I still can’t believe it! So, did you go to cooking school or something?
K: Yeah. I went to California to study.
J: Really? How long did you stay there?
K: I was there for 3 years.
J: And what did you do after that?
K: Then I came back here. I worked for about 3 years to get some experience.
J: That’s great! So, where is your restaurant? I’m going to eat there this weekend!
