D: Hi, Kenji.
K: Hi, Debbie. Have a seat. How’s it going?
D: I’m OK. How are you doing?
K: Pretty good. Listen…have you heard about the new Thai restaurant over on University Avenue?
D: Do you mean The Bangkok?
K: That’s the one. A bunch of us are going there for dinner tomorrow night. How about coming with us?
D: Sure, I’d love to.
K: Great. I’ll call and make reservations.
D: Any time after 6:00 is good for me. Oh! I’m late! I have a class.
K: All right. I’ll call you tonight and tell you the time.
D: Great. Talk to you then.
对话示例2：
K: Hello. Could I speak to Justin, please?
J: Speaking.
K: Oh, hi Justin. This is Karen Hepburn. We met at Chris and Jim’s party.
J: Of course. How’re you?
K: Great. Uh, Justin, would you like to see Otis Isley on Thursday night? He’s at the Kangaroo Club.
J: I’m sorry. Karen, but I can’t. I have to work late this Thursday.
K: Oh…that’s too bad.
J: Yeah. I really like Isley.
K: Actually, are you doing anything on Friday or Saturday? He’s playing those two nights as well.
J: Well, I can’t make it on Friday either, but I’m free on Saturday night. What time does it start?
K; At eight sharp. How about meeting in front of the club at about a quarter after seven?
J: That sounds perfect. And let’s go out for coffee after the show.
K: Sure!
J: OK, see you at 7:15, Saturday.
